Each year I do an original painting commemorating the Ironman World Championship, which literally takes place in front of the gallery. For 2017 I’ve chosen the theme ‘Celebrate the Dream’. It's the dream of so many triathletes to compete in Kona... so celebrate the fact you are here!! For this year's piece I borrowed from my past as a doodler... the longer you look the more you see... I've included the Hawaiian words for swim, bike, run as well as landmarks along the route. My swimmer, biker, and runner are chasing the dream in technicolor. Enjoy!!
