Each year I do an original painting commemorating the Ironman World Championship. This year my theme is “Reach for the Stars”. You’ve made it here…Kona... This is what you’ve worked so hard for. In this piece the tribal tattoos symbolize strength and tradition. Rising against a backdrop of The Big Island. Be strong, be determined, Ka'ili'polo'ahi'lani!! Reach for the Stars!!!

This original acrylic on canvas painting measures 18"x24" and is framed in a beautiful black frame with a carved Hawaiian fish hook motif.
