This started out to be a heart with wings and ended up something else entirely. I decided to go a "carnival" route and started the carousel with just a couple of animals. A friend stopped by and noticed I had the beginnings of the Chinese Zodiac. This was a very happy accident. I ended up with all 12 animals. I'm the Dog. The original was done almost entirely in colored pencil and india ink
