For Ironman 2019 my theme was “E Komo Mai” which means “welcome” in Hawaiian . Our little town welcomes thousands of athletes every October…some will have this experience once, some Legacy Athletes many times….we hope each person will take home with them a sense of Aloha and Joy…………………...E Komo Mai!!!!

Each year for the last eleven years I have done an original painting commemorating the athletes, the event and the Big Island. This year’s piece expresses joy, excitement, movement, and the emotion of color. Good luck to all the athletes and those who love and support them!!
