The Ironman Triathlon starts and finishes right in front of my gallery so needless to say it's a very exciting time. This is the piece I did for the 2009 race. This is the view coming up Alii drive with the existing Historical marker in the foreground, my gallery with pups looking out the windows…. and then the cyclists route to Hawi. I’ve includes some of the things they pass on the way, like the donkey crossing signs and lava graffiti. The original was colored pencil, ink and acrylic.
